Datamotive Raises US$ 3.8 mn in a Pre-Series-A Funding Round

The Pre-Series-A round was led by Morphosis with participation from YourNest Venture Capital, 3one4 Capital and Patni Group. The new funding round will accelerate the delivery of Datamotive's products that enable organisations to seamlessly and securely scale, migrate and recover data and workloads across public and private clouds with a guaranteed 10-minute recovery service level agreement (SLA) regardless of cloud and workload size.

Lavelle Networks provides advanced networking software that optimises, secures, and manages enterprise branch networks. The company's flagship scaleAon SD-WAN platform has successfully connected numerous Indian enterprises, ranging from large financial institutions to e-commerce networks.
Bharti Airtel (an existing investor in the company) has acquired an additional 20.6% stake in Lavelle Networks taking its total ownership to 45.6%.

Exponent Energy Unveils 15-minute Fast-charging Tech for EVs
Exponent Energy has unveiled its revolutionary technology behind a 15-minute rapid charging solution for the electric vehicle (EV) industry in an event it hosted in Bangalore on 31st July 2023. It showcased its proprietary energy stack: battery pack (e^pack), charging station (e^pump) and charging connector (e^plug) which together unlock a 15-minute rapid charge, and long battery life (3,000 cycle life warranty, 3X the industry standard) – and all this is done on regular LFP cells.
The company announced that it has completed over 25,000 rapid charging sessions and covered over a million kms by powering more than 200 EVs in Bangalore.
