Dozee, India’s first contactless remote patient monitor and early warning system that automates and digitises patient monitoring and delivers timely alerts by sensing anomalies in trends using Artificial Intelligence, recently received the ISO 13485:2016 certification from Intertek for its Quality Management System (QMS). ISO 13485:2016 is an internationally recognised quality standard for enterprises in the medical device industry that comprises strict standards for quality management systems.
“We are delighted to have been recognised with the ISO 13485:2016 certification… the most widely accepted certification in the medical devices industry for quality management systems. The certificate recognises and validates Dozee’s commitment to driving efficiency in the healthcare ecosystem by implementing contactless patient monitoring devices across public and private hospitals, further alleviating the burden on the healthcare workforce.” said Mudit Dandwate, CEO & Co-founder – Dozee.
Dozee has also been participating in several events in recent times:
- The startup was showcased at the 44th Annual State Conference of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists at Madurai, Tamil Nadu from 15-17 July 2022 with over 500 anaesthesiologists in attendance, who shared Dozee’s drive to provide connected health in every bed.
- On 18 July, 2022, Dozee and Financial Express (India) organised an event called CareTech in Hyderabad where an independent report on technology solutions to bridge critical gaps in the healthcare infrastructure – ‘Unlocking the potential of connected healthcare in India’ – was released. The report highlights how connected contactless remote patient monitoring across public healthcare delivery systems could potentially unlock the treatment capacity for an additional three million patients by the Indian healthcare system. The deployment of Dozee can save approximately 144 lives for every 100 connected beds. Moreover, it is estimated that there is potential to save over 1,10,000 lives in India annually through initiatives such as Dozee’s Million ICU programme.
- Co-Founder and CTO, Gaurav Parchani, presented Dozee’s AI-based ballistocardiography technology at a global level at the 44th Annual Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, held in Glasgow, UK.
