With extensive experience across global markets, Bhavesh has played a key role at Zomato and Better.com in building and scaling them to successful IPOs . He drove early growth at Zomato during its critical foundational years and, as part of its leadership team, worked towards its topline growth, launched new products and drove strategic global partnerships. At Better.com, he scaled the company from 43 to over 4,100 employees while maintaining an industry-leading attrition rate of less than 8%.
He had earlier served as the Sr Vice President at JP Morgan in London, building and leading the UK Government’s electronic benefits transfer programme and overseeing the £27 bn annual disbursement programme. Before joining JP Morgan, Bhavesh held executive positions at American Express and Financial Times in London.
Bhavesh is part of the education panel at Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) Delhi, helping formulate educational policy initiatives that bridge the gap between industry and academia. He also serves as an advisor to various startups and has been involved in successful exits, including GCabs which was acquired by Ola.
A graduate of London Business School (MBA) and London School of Economics (MSc), Bhavesh combines global perspectives with deep understanding of Indian markets. He is dedicated to creating growth opportunities that strengthen India’s position in the global economy. A perennial learner, he recently completed a Diploma in Buddhist Studies at Nalanda University.
Bhavesh is an avid motorcyclist, a cinephile and collector of vintage film posters and memorabilia.
